Project Linus is comprised of hundreds of local chapters and thousands of volunteers across the United States. Each volunteer and local chapter all work together to help them achieve their mission which is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers". Together they have distributed over three million blankets to children in need since their inception in 1995.
For TQG, Karen Levine coordinates the Linus Workshops which meet in local quilt shops. Quilters bring sewing machines and sewing supplies to the workshops. The Linus group provides fabric and even some thread.

Notice: Because of storage constraints, Project Linus (local) can not accept fabric or non-cotton batting donations at this time.
