UPCOMING DAY CHAPTER MEETINGS : September 14
sle of Man Log Cabin sew along. Nancy Gorry will show us how to make an ornament size log cabin block using the traditional Isle of Man hand stitching/folding/self-quilting technique developed 2-3 centuries ago in the middle of the Irish Sea. It's a simple running stitch using few and simple tools. You will be able to do it in your lap. Supplies list and step-by-step instructions will be available in an email prior to the meeting. Don't forget your Block of the Month, Lucky Buck, and donations for the Quilt Show Silent Auction. The Day Chapter meets monthly on the second Monday of the month in person and on ZOOM. Do not enter parking lot until 9:45 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 10:15 a.m. |
