BeeHive
Welcome to the BeeHive, TQG’s Quilting Bee register! You asked, we answered!
The BeeHive is TQG’s new Bee register, a list of Bees that have at least one active guild member and that have requested to be listed with the guild. We know that there are many different kinds of Bees, that some are open and some are closed, and that it can be hard to connect with a new Bee or share the beautiful work your Bee has accomplished!
The BeeHive is envisioned to be a starting place for some of those connections. Your Guild BeeKeeper will help connect guild quilters looking to join or start a Bee and may facilitate some other community communications. You can contact the BeeKeeper, Elizabeth Nowak, at email coming.
Bzzz--What's a Bee?
A Bee, or Quilting Bee, is a group of like-minded quilters who come together to quilt. Traditionally, Bees work on completing one project together, but some Modern Bees simply create a space for quilters to be together while working on their own projects. In other words, it's a social gathering where quilts are made!
