2. Kool Kaleidoscope - Christie Prenger
Create a kaleidoscope quilt project that will be unique every time you make it. You will draft a very simple pattern and cut template shapes from full width of fabric strip sets. These pieces will then be stitched together into 12 wedges to create a kaleidoscope design. Just add borders and you have a complete project that looks just like the inside of a children’s kaleidoscope from our youth. So, gather 1/8th yard, full WOF pieces from your stash, a couple of accent fabrics and come play with me to make a truly unique design. No special tools required, and basic sewing skills are all you need to participate. |

3. Reusable Grocery Tote - Sabrina Flynn
In this class, we will be making two different types of reusable fabric bags. These are great stash busters! The first one will be a grocery tote that has lined handles, boxed corners and French seams. You can also roll it up and secure it with a piece of elastic for a convenient bag to travel with or throw in your purse or glove box. It will fast become one of your favorites! The second bag we are going to be making will be a lined, draw string gift bag. These bags are very nice to use for giving gifts in, holding your projects and quilts. |

6. Isle of Man Handstitched Log Cabin - Nancy Gorry
It may look like an American log cabin, but it's a different construction technique developed on the Isle of Man (in the Irish Sea between Ireland and Scotland), probably in the late 18th - early 19th centuries. This is a hand measuring, hand sewing and hand folding technique that results in what may be the original "quilt as you go" block. Bring your scraps!
