Suzi Bedford will be our program presenter.  She is a human encyclopedia of sewing and quilting information.  Suzi started sewing at the age of 6.  In the mid 70’s she discovered quilting and in the 90’s she started teaching.  Suzi B as she is known, joined TQG in 1993.  She is one of our members that has been busy serving as a past president and working on many of our Guilds programs, such as quilt shows, Spring Flings, etc.  Suzi is now the leader of the “Stichin Misfits” which meets at one of our local fabric shops.  Plan on attending to see what Suzi B has in store for the Day Program.

There will be a Board meeting after the August Guild meeting. It was cancelled last month because of the holiday and the church being closed. Please plan on attending if you are a board member or a chairperson for the Day Chapter.

Freida Doubts will be our speaker for the August Night Chapter.   Freida is the owner of Sew E-Z in Portsmouth and is a member of our Guild.   She will be demonstrating  two great techniques -  Wonder Cut Ruler - makes quick and easy work of half square and quarter square triangles with less fabric waste, and Square-in-a -Square - a fast and easy way to do a square-in-a-square and with no fabric waste.   Freida will also have rulers, kits, panels and patterns for sale so don’t miss this opportunity to learn these two terrific techniques.
