Spring Fling 2016 November Update

 The committee for Spring Fling 2016 met Monday November 16. We have a wonderful enthusiastic team! Everything is falling into place.

Starting in January, Spring Fling Committee Members will be wearing embroidered name tags with beautiful fabric flowers at all meetings. Embroidery is being done by Dennis Ferguson and the Fabric flowers were made Ann Brothers and Judy McCloskey. Anyone wearing the name tags will be able to assist you with any questions you have about Spring Fling 2016.

Beginning at the January TQG Meetings-

• We will start collecting Fat Quarters and Books,
• Registration will begin for classes and
• Raffle Block kits will be on sale

Here is a sneak peak of classes being offered at Spring Fling 2016:

• “Let’s Finish It” with Joan Bryan. This will be a great class to help you finish up your quilts, just in time to get them entered and displayed in the Quilt Show!
• Davis Main will be teaching the Mondo Bag Class. He had such a great time last year helping Lee Norstrom he offered to teach it again!
• Trisha Jantzen has already showed me her beautiful paper piecing she will be teaching.
• Collier Webb is holding a Linus quilt class, kits will be provided
• Abby Geddes Wool applique project;
• Karin McElvin Fabric Basket;
• Debi Harding Sewing Station Caddy;
• Martha Schwegler Iron Caddy;
• Margo Fowler is teaching Easy Hunter Star;
• Cathy Meader Delectable Mountians;
• Carol Jordan Churn Dash Shaded;
• Mary Lynn Slough Dresden Plate Block
• Sara Madson Hand Pieced Mariner’s Compass.
