It's time for Girl Scout sewing again!
Please join us in teaching the next generation to love sewing by being a sewing mentor for a day. Our project this time will be simple cotton infinity scarves for St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children. The scarves will be a fashionable alternative to the white hospital bibs. This will allow the children and young adults who live there a little more dignity when out and about.
Feb 13. 9:00 at A Place for Girls. Cedar Rd., Chesapeake. Please bring your sewing machine, thread, and excitement to share. We are expecting the usual 40 scouts per session. The more sewing machines and adults we have, the better the session will go. We will have a prep session before to cut so that the scouts and adults can focus on sewing. More info to come on that date and location.
Thanks in advance for your support of this event. --Pam
