Our beautiful raffle quilt has a home now with winner Donna Dabb from Waverly, Virginia.
The quilt was delivered to her home and she was thrilled to see what she had won!
Donna stated she had never won anything before. Donna is a quilter of ten years. While visiting,
she showed me several of her antique quilts.

I want to thank everyone for the support you have given this project by buying and selling tickets. A special thank-you to:
  • Millie Johnson, Sybil Magrill, Rosemary Rooney, and Sarah’s Thimble for assisting me in selling tickets
  • Sue Vogel was a guiding force in designing the quilt
  • All the members of the Nimble Thimble Bee at Sarah’s Thimble who stitched the gorgeous quilt
  • Sarah Norman for quilting the quilt.
Many of you told me how much you would like to win the quilt. I know there is disappointment about not winning, but we must all think of ourselves as winners in that we added well to our education fund for guest speakers, trunk shows, and workshops. Consider signing up for a workshop soon. They are a lot of fun and you always learn something.
