Project Linus remains a project near and dear to the TQG heart. Project Linus, a non-profit organization, provides homemade quilts to children in need. Locally, our quilts are lovingly made by TQG members to benefit children in the Hampton Roads region.
At the December Day Chapter meeting, SEVENTY FIVE members and 4 guests participated in a massive prep session cutting strips for future sewing. Elaine Page made the session visually appealing sporting her funky Christmas tights pictures above! At the January meeting, the strips will be stitched into quilts. All Day chapter members are encouraged to bring their machines along with heavy duty cords and participate in the Linus-a-thon at the January 11th meeting.
