October President’s Message
Happy Fall! Temperatures outside are a little cooler now and I actually have brought out my favorite sweatshirt! It feels quite cozy.
I was delighted to take the curved log cabin workshop presented by Augusta Cole. The presentation was professional and entertaining. I was able to see and follow the instructions and Augusta was very patient. And it certainly was a very comfortable way to take a class. If you haven’t taken a workshop yet, please do so! Until we are able to meet in person, this is the next best thing.
I have been sewing on my night chapter mystery quilt and I am going to have the top ready for the November show and tell. And then I will get back to work on my curved log cabin.
I hope all of you are well and that you have been sharing time with others through the Zoom chapter meetings and the drop-in sessions. It is so important to us to help you feel comfortable with the process so we can socialize with you. Remember, all of us were beginners once, but it gets easier every time we use it. If you need some one-on-one assistance, please ask.
I wanted to remind you to take pity on our executive board treasurer and to please cash any checks you receive from her in a timely manner. It is so appreciated.
