The Executive Board’s proposal that TQG support AQS with volunteers at their shows in 2018, 2019 and 2020 has been supported by you with a majority vote at all there chapter meetings and I am confident that we will be able to provide the volunteers needed to keep the show in our area. I signed and forwarded the contract to Bonnie Browning the day after our meetings. I believe it is a win-win situation for both our guild and for AQS. We will probably require around 25 volunteers per day and I think we have enough active quilters to accommodate AQS. I thank all of you and look forward to the first show next year.
When I signed up for Fall Festival, it seems like a long way off but here we are and it’s almost here. I’m really looking forward to the day. It’s a good day to relax before the holidays start in earnest. Speaking of which, I haven’t even started my Christmas list but will get things finished eventually. I seem to need a deadline to get anything done.
As a related matter, there are job descriptions for all positions as an addendum to our Policy & Procedures which is located in our Members Only section of the web site. I found with experience it is not easy to print a copy of just one job description. I have separate copies of each description, since I help put them together into one document. So if any of you need a copy, let me know and I will email to you.
