Happy New Year!!!
Hard to believe it is 2016.
We have so much to look forward to this year-
  • The Mancuso show is right around the corner in February. Sign up to sell Raffle tickets at the show. We also get the opportunity to white glove some pretty fantastic quilts
  • Spring Fling in April is looking like the best ever. With lots of classes and good food and fun women and men. See all the samples at the January meetings.
  • A Cindy Simms program is scheduled in May. Cindy’s website is www.cindysimms.net  Details of her lectures and workshop will be coming soon.
  • Our TQG Quilt Show is coming in June! “QUILTERS ROCK THE BEACH,” will be held on June 17th & 18th at  Cape Henry Collegiate School, Virginia Beach, Virginia
  • A Linda Hahn program is scheduled for September. Linda Hahn’s website is www.froghollowdesigns.com . Linda will speak to both the day and night chapters. We are hosting her in conjunction with the Peninsula guild. The two workshops she is holding will be available to TQG members, but will be held on the Peninsula.
  • An Augusta Cole program is scheduled in October. Augusta’s website is www.augustacolequilting.com
I am also looking forward to a new knee. I will have surgery on January 7th and out of commission till about the 20th. If you have any concerns or problems call anyone on the Board.
I look forward to seeing you all in February.
