Greetings Quilters, We missed January Meeting due to snow and ice. I am glad we made a smart choice to cancel, but that being said I have so much to update for all of you. Our next meeting is February 3rd, meet and greet starts at 9:30 and meeting starts at 10am. We have the space till 4pm so feel free to pack your lunch and spend the day with us.
Program: Prairie Point Heart Wall Hanging
Supplies- 1 yard for the points that form the heart and 1 yard for the strips for the background, ( please don’t precut) thread to match and of course your machine and scissors. If you have a mini iron and travel ironing board that would really make things easier for yourself.
REVEAL OF THE “BIRD QUILT!! “
I will be showing the completed quilt, I will also be drawing the winner of our beautiful Bird quilt.
Block of the Month - January block to bring in LOG CABIN, red center and beige, Browns and creams for the logs As always blocks need to be 12.5 inches you can make 2
Our Library opens up this month and the guild has a great challenge to be announced at the meeting.
I think that is all the business parts to help keep us on track. We will have Show n Tell, I am guessing we have a lot to show after being snowed in for almost a week. Open sewing till 4pm, bring your machine or hand work and lets get creative. I look forward to seeing all of you again!
