Celebration of Life

As some of you may know, one of our members, Chris McMahon, lost her son in a single vehicle crash in Chesapeake on October 18. I wanted to pass along the information regarding his celebration of life, this Saturday November 14th as below. Diana Behling

"On Sunday October 18 we lost Sean McMahon way too soon in a car accident. Though we miss him tremendously, we are thankful that he did not suffer.

All family and friends are invited to a celebration of Sean's life on November 14th at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church, 333 Cedar Rd. Chesapeake, VA (across from City Hall).

There will be a service in the Sanctuary at 2:00 PM followed by a musical celebration and party...just as we think Sean would have wanted it.

If you wish to celebrate Sean with music, please bring your instrument or voice (sound equipment will be provided), or your cell phone or mp3 player to play a special song. Bring your stories and memories to share, and come learn more about Sean and celebrate his life with us.

If you would like to bring a dish, snacks or soft drinks to share, someone will be there from 12:30 PM on to receive it.

Attire is party attire - comfortable and colorful - but still appropriate for the church service.

We hope to see you there, and please share this with anyone who knew Sean. Multiple notifications/invites are fine, we'd hate to miss people.

* Please make donations in Sean's name to the Humane Society or Animal Shelter of your choice instead of flowers."
