Hello again, the TQG Quilt Show is fast approaching and the planning is now in full swing. Karan Fisher and her Board are doing an amazing job and another fantastic show is promised. I am excited to see all the quilts made by you all over the past 2 years - I have had a sneak peak of a few and cannot wait to see the full selection. There are still some spots available for volunteering at the show, so if you have a little spare time during the 17th or 18th August just ping me an e-mail and I’ll sign you up.
David Sirota treated us to a hilarious talk about being a quilter at this month’s day and night meetings, and some of you also had a fun packed day learning his no tears method of paper piecing to create some beautiful examples of the Storm at Sea. I have had many requests for a return visit from him and hope that next year he will return with his version of the New York Beauty.
I hope you all have a great summer and, wherever you travel, be safe and have fun. For those who are staying closer to home, I look forward to seeing you at the Quilt Show.
